Animalistic Pink!

This is a hot bright pink with silver shimmer from BB Couture- Love Drunk. A hot, bright, sexy pink which demands to be looked at.

I won a giveaway recently from Shirley's Nail Art, and I got to choose which image plate I wanted, so I chose this one! I love the tribal inspired design, and how big the design is! This plate is from the XL series, so it's much larger than the regular plate.

I stamped the eye on my middle and fourth finger and free handed the design around it so it'll look like something's peeking out of the African bush!

I like this, very simple and themed, but the pink was a little bright for me after one day. Anyway those of you out there who love to konad, Shirley is coming up with some new stamping plates she designed herself, some with DISNEY CHARACTERS!!!!!! WHOOOO how exciting!

You can also purchase the XL plates from her website, so do check it out. I'm just so excited at the thought of Disney image plates!

Crazy Nail Polishes

Recently I've come across some crazy nail polishes, so today I'm going to show you some of them.

Really? Jizz on my nails? "Hi, I'd like to purchase two bottles of Jizz please." I asked my guy friends what they thought, and they said they could probably make a fortune selling it as nail polish too.

Along those lines would be polishes by NaughtyNailz:

Cummin' 4 U

They also have other polishes like 12 Inch Gang Bang, Nipplebiter, and Lickalottapus. All wonderful names that make me want to buy them up and give them to my mother. Right.

Moving on to something else that doesn't have anything to do with my private parts and its bodily functions, have you ever gotten the feeling that you just don't have enough nails to paint? Well..... here is some nail polish for your pet!

ColorPaw- Glitter Pet Nail Polish in Opal

And if that's not enough, you can make them glow in the dark too!

And since you're going to paint your dog/cat's nails, why not go all the way with some Christmas stickers and rhinestones

Look! You can even free hand some nail art on your poor abused pets too!

And just to show the manufacturers aren't kidding about pampering your pets, here's some nail oil to help  moisturize those dry pet cuticles.

Then to take it all off, there's nail polish remover wipes!

Sigh the world's becoming absurd. My dog will probably just look in dismay at his nails then try to bite them off with his teeth. Then whimper a bit before running off to the neighbour's dogs to share his story of beauty abuse.

Would you rather buy Jizz or paint your pet's nails?

A simple French Manicure and some Perplexing!

Here's a simple french manicure I did. The base is one coat of Jordana's Extra Garlic Base Coat, which by the way smells like a skunk and not garlic. Then two coats of Del Sol Peek-A-Boo, which I wanted to use so that the base would turn pink in sunlight.

The white tips were done using tape from Etude House, and this really thick Sylvie polish. It's uneven because the polish was so thick and lumpy, but overall I think it turned out pretty nice!

And this is Revlon Perplex! The Chanel dupe that most girls in the USA seem to be looking for. I don't like it! I know I said I liked it when I first swatched it, but I hate it now! It is a pretty dusty purple colour, but it bubbles! So much! So many bubbles! Then I couldn't see the shimmer in it that everyone keeps raving about.

*Stamps feet*. Don't like.

Do you like Perplex? Why or why not?

Champagne Foil

This is a pretty champagne foil from Daiso, in the bottle it looked like it was creme with silver glitter but after application it was totally foil-y!

I decided to create some tribal stripes by hand painting it on with a striper, but it looked more like a tiger's stripes.

The uglier hand: I'm seriously disabled with the whole ambidextrous thing.

How do you paint your less-abled hand, whether regular nail polish or nail art?

Neon Rainbows and some Shattering!

Let me start by saying that this is the brightest, neon-est, crazy eye-searing design I've ever done! I could barely look at my nails for more than 3 seconds, and it was so bright it pissed my boyfriend off to no end. And me as well. I got pretty mad at my nails halfway through the first day.

This was painted with a white base from Sylvie, a cheapie local brand, I used the polish because it's thickened so I only needed to do one coat. The rest of the colours are from the China Glaze Poolside collection- (in order): Towel Boy Toy, Kiwi-coolada, Yellow Polka Dot Bikini, Sun Worshipper, Flip Flop Fantasy and Pink Voltage.

I left the tips white so the pink wouldn't inordinately large. I did this mani in really dim, orange light so I couldn't gauge the width of some colours (like yellow) and that's why my eyes didn't burn out earlier.

After I got home that night I realized I had a neon purple, Color Club Mrs Robinsons which could turn this into a full rainbow! It looked so much nicer!

But still way too bright so after admiring it....

I decided to put on a shatter top coat! Here is the black shatter top coat I bought in Hong Kong by Alessandro. It's a tiny 5ml bottle, and much of it has hardened already since it dries so fast.

This is what shatter looks like if you put it on horizontally instead.

It certainly dulled down the mani quite a bit, and I survived another day with it before taking it off.

I've never gotten SO many comments on my manicure! I think because it's so bright and just catches attention. But my bf hated it. He complained it was way too bright and he hated looking at my hands anytime I was near him.

I was fooled by all the colours from the computer screen regarding these neon colours from the Poolside Collection. They looked fairly normal and pretty, so I bought the whole collection. If any of you think the colours look nice and pretty, DON'T! Look at something big and neon, like a neon green or yellow, for at least 3 minutes and when your eyes are going crazy, remember that you do not want to buy super neon polishes. What you see on the screen is incredibly tame compared to real life, REALLY! Just a minute of looking at my nails made green spots hover in front of my eyes for the next few minutes.

I think I'll be into really dull, pale colours for the next few days. My eyes are still going mad even after taking this mani off.

Do you like neons? Do your eyes burn like mine do?

Some dainty leopard prints!

The base is a light pink with teeny-weeny silver glitter from the Face Shop. It's quite old so I had to add too much thinner, and it was still gloopy and very hard to control.

It's stamped with Color Club In Bloom using m57, then coated with one coat of Out the Door Gold Holographic top coat, which is amazing for jazzing up any mani!

I love it, it's so demure and pretty! I didn't like it very much at first, looked a bit like Barbie mamasan (pimp). But I don't think mamasans wear colour like this so I changed my mind.

It's so nice and twinkly too!
